After a decade of staunch and relentless support for using Microsoft Outlook in conjunction with the POP3 protocol, as opposed a webmail service, I have made the switch to using Google Apps with my domain. This is not a big step for me; it is a huge one.

A couple of days ago, I decided to “switch” to Linux. That is to say, I wiped my Windows partition and decided to give Debian a try. Then after a few hours of fumbling about and trying to install Firefox, I decided I wasn’t ready for such an advanced operating system. So I started from scratch and installed Ubuntu instead.
