If you enjoy a cold beer, today is supposedly the day to knock one back, as canned beer celebrates its 75th birthday.
The first beer can was introduced by a brewing company from New Jersey back in 1935. It was a market test, which apparently proved successful, since American beer drinkers prefer cans over bottles, judging [...]

Bromance is one of those relatively new, made-up mash-up words that I just cannot get on board with. For the uninitiated, the term implies a close but non-sexual relationship/friendship between two or more men. The term has become particularly popular in Hollywood, where movies like I Love You, Man have become a mainstay of brainless [...]

Rupert Murdoch’s war against free content continues. The yesteryear tycoon recently complained about search engines “stealing” news content from his pay-to-read sites – such as WSJ.com – and spreading it around for free. t’s that time of the year again. Leaves are turning yellow and falling to the ground… The weather is getting colder and rainier… The big fall celebrations are drawing near: Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Another sign of autumn is the annual theatrical release of the latest title in the long, excruciating series of movies belonging to the Saw franchise. Miraculously, these mindless low-budget should-go-straight-to-DVD entries are still in production.
